Pastel Still Life
It wasn't hard to plan my composition. I just used all of the original colors in my objects. A thumbnail sketch is basically a small blueprint. It helped me with the size and positioning of my project. I made the objects look 3D by drawing them in different positions and by using cast shadowing. My light source is the sun.
Ceramics Project
The medium is clay and gloss. The size is 12x11 inches. The design element stressed during this construction was ceramics. The technique used was sculpture and molding. My mother uses my ceramics for jewlery, I used hump mold and for the design, I did what came to mind, and that wasn't much. I learned that gloss was just water, that the process of creating the piece is a long process. If I had a chance to redo this project, I would do more of a circular bowl and make it a little deeper.
Acrylic Landscape Painting
The first step in this project was to get three pictures of something that you wanted to paint. For me, I wanted to do Chicago. I orginized the painting by doing a drawing with a sharpie only using lines. My light souece is coming from the moon. My color scheme is mainly a grayish purple. I used side stroke for majority of my painting. I used value by using a few other colors outside of my color scheme. This was my favorite project to work on and I was very happy with the outcome.

Shoe Drawing
For this drawing, I used a pencil and an eraser, if needed. I took my shoes off and drew them. This is some form of modeling. The difficult task was drawing a shoe behind a shoe. The shoes I drew are a pair of Adidas Classics. This project helped me in a lot of ways.
Tree
For this dogwood tree, I used paint, a picture of a dogwood tree, a detailed brush, and a flat brush. The detailed brush is a smaller brush which I used for the trunk of the tree. The flat brush is a larger brush which was used for the leaves. I picked it up and bounced it up and down. I had to use a picture so I could try to make my painting resemble the trr in the original photograph.
