For this dogwood tree, I used paint, a picture of a dogwood tree, a detailed brush, and a flat brush. The detailed brush is a smaller brush which I used for the trunk of the tree. The flat brush is a larger brush which was used for the leaves. I picked it up and bounced it up and down. I had to use a picture so I could try to make my painting resemble the trr in the original photograph.
